Vision Board

A vision board is a collection of images, photographs, drawings, words - anything that portrays your vision. It is a visual portrayal of your goals.

Here are some tips in creating a vision board -

1 - Think big: whatever it may be, books, dvd series, workshops with hundreds of people, talking to thousands of people, tv, invention etc. What is your legacy? What do you give to the world that serves billions and billions of people?

Thinking 'big' doesn't always mean the amount of money you make, the amount of products you sell, it is more about living your full potential. It is about really thinking beyond your limitations. Imagine there is nothing holding you back, no limiting beliefs or blockages - what do you really want to achieve?

2 - Be very specific and use lots of detail: If you put a picture up of a seminar venue or sales deal, include every aspect, don't forget the queues of people, the happy customers, the results, the testimonials after the event, (there are so many for every possible situation, I can't write them all!)

In all types of goal setting, writing down exactly what you want and being really specific is important. It helps to clarify things, it helps you to understand the goals and it gives you a clearer image of your goal.

3 - It's great to put words on the vision board too, then when you look at it each day you also read and affirm the words, link them to the pictures in some way - speech bubbles, testimonials, reviews, words to describe your successes.

4 - Great one for everyone: Photo shop a picture of yourself surrounded by money (Mark V Hanson did this), don't just imagine you will have money for a particular thing, see it on the wall, know it, embody your successes.

5 - Images: When using images off the internet or from magazines, be choosy, don't settle for less than you deserve, take time to pick the best images that suit your goals.

6 - Drawings: It is also good to draw your successes out, it can be stick men or blobs on a page, however artistic it is, it comes from you! Which means that it is exactly what you want and when you look at it you know what it is.

7: Enjoy and have fun

This is a great activity to get in flow, knowing you goals and realising your full potential helps you to shine out your greatness!
